The Urban Renewal Plan of Girlan establishes the foundation for an orderly and high-quality development of the historic village centre in the municipality of Eppan. As part of the project, the development possibilities for all plots and landowners were clearly defined in a legally binding plan. Complementing this, a formal development concept was created with concrete guidelines for public spaces, buildings, and the design and enhancement of green areas. The combination of legal obligation and design vision provides a solid basis for a future-oriented development that respects the character of the historic settlement.

The project was fully digitised using GIS software and integrated into the municipality's digital browser. This gives all interested parties user-friendly access to the implementation regulations for all areas. In addition, a digital 3D model was created, enabling the simulation of complex planning situations and providing a reliable foundation for future decisions.
